The view is definitely the best thing about this place. Those who like long waiting times in the almost empty restaurant and cold duck with cold dumplings (from the bag) ... After the complaint, the food came back lukewarm from the microwave and the original sauce was through a tomato-flavored one !!!!!! been replaced. Never again!

Very cozy and everything was great because of Corona. The dining room is big enough that you don't get too close.

Despite the weekend and the stress of the fine weather, we were served quickly and well. The cake was fantastic. We will be back.

Third visit !! Attempt!! Garden with 4 (four) occupied tables - in restaurant zero on the terrace also 4 tables occupied - reception ?? ZERO! I registered and asked if we could eat ... Corona registration ... (Without table no !!) in the garden not served - asked if we could go to the terrace - "Yes, I'm coming" - we sat on the terrace and waited ... "I'll be with you in a moment .. it's raining I have to clear the cushions first ... OK !! (But in Corona times cushions ??) We ordered ... drinks arrived quickly ... soup too .. BREAK - Big break !! After 30 minutes the double cheeseburger with jalapenos (8 tiny slices 1 Euro) came lukewarm !! The large salad with char with ZERO dressing ... Ketchup probably Corona-related in a PVC bag ... NORMAL is a burger Sauce with it !! ?? The lady was visibly overwhelmed but alone - sorry - WE were there at 11:45 - there was very little going on (Thursday and cloudy) at 12:40 the food came !! (I know because I sent SMS ) - It's a shame about such a beautiful restaurant - sympathy for the lady - but that was definitely NOTHING! Another try when the weather is nice .. we left

Highly recommended! Great food, good value for money and the service is very nice. We were on vacation at Ammersee for 2 weeks and had to go here 3 times because it tasted so good. We tried a few of them all. The best was the double burger and the Kaiserschmarren 👍🏻

Great terrace in front of the Ammersee. Right at the harbor in Schöndorf. Price performance ok.

Great food, great view of the lake, but unfortunately there is sometimes a strong smell of fat from the kiosk under the terrace

The way the food turns out is always a matter of luck. It can be very good and the same dish the next time it is moderate, despite the same price. It's a shame, because it's a really nice place and a nice landlady.

Delicious large portions. Excellent price / performance ratio. Recommendable. Not overcrowded like in other places on the lake. Gladly again !!

Good food, friendly staff and a great view of the Schondorf steamship pier. Have been there many times. There is a choice between self-service and being served.

Very nice place on the terrace, breakfast very good, service overwhelmed, on our n reference that the water for the tea was lukewarm, there was no comment or no apology.

Nice place good food unfortunately I found out that there is a wasp trap under the table. I don't think so and think that these traps attract even more wasps, therefore only 3 stars

We had a great experience yesterday at dinner in the Seepost. Good food, great view of the lake and the service (Ella) was so attentive, courteous and friendly as I have hardly seen in any other restaurant. Great!

Maybe we were just unlucky, but our experience was unsatisfactory. Great views, however the service was chaotic and slow - some orders were forgotten. The food was mediocre and drinks way too expensive. 4.50eur for a 0.3l of limo, that was too sour to drink is just too much.

I would not recommend this restaurant, I was simply not served and everyone around me was. The owner replied to a comment from a gentleman who happened to me and said it was self service. I would like to comment on this once. According to current Corona regulations, it is forbidden to offer self-service and a service person must hand over the food on request. Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the food itself, because I wasn't served. Was very disappointed because the ambience is actually very nice.

I recommend Saiblingfilet with vegetables. Wonderful view on the lake.
